IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Australia had a lot to celebrate after opening their November Test Series with a win over Wales.

While Australia were preparing to celebrate their 29-21 win over Wales, they received a surprise visit from Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.

The Duke's visit literally caught the Australians off guard, especially centre Kurtley Beale, who was dressed in a skimpy green and gold budgy smugglers with an Indigenous art design.

Despite being a little underdressed, it did not stop 28-year-old Beale from seizing a photo with the Prince.

When you rock up to the party feeling a little over dressed 🤴🏿🤣

The centre even offered the Duke of Cambridge his pants.

"I just came from the recovery room. I recover in ice baths. I love playing in my budgie smugglers, so they were the last things that I was wearing," Beale told reporters.

"I just happened to be taking it easy and it was pretty good to have a yarn with him in the sheds. It's always special when you meet royalty,"

Australia's next opponents are England at Twickenham.
