Agen hooker Jammes sidelined by broken leg

The 22-year-old came on as a 49th-minute replacement in Saturday's Top 14 game against Oyonnax only to be injured after a clash with Matthew Hopper two minutes later.

He underwent surgery in Lyon on Sunday with Agen saying he now faces between four and six months out of action.

In April Jammes, playing for Grenoble at the time, was charged with two teammates of gang rape.

Jammes, along with Ireland's Denis Coulson and New Zealander Rory Grice, were indicted with a sexual assault on a 21-year-old woman in a hotel, after she met them at a nightclub in Bordeaux following their Top 14 defeat by Bordeaux-Begles on March 11.

The three men were ordered not to have any contact with the victim, and not to leave France.
