Player ratings: Miles ahead

A massive first half performance, where they punished the Wallabies for every small error, laid the platform for a match that was over as a contest by half-time. The All Blacks' execution on attack and discipline on defence has sent out a clear message to the rest of the teams.

Tauriq Ebrahim rates the All Blacks players!

15 Israel Dagg

His stellar performance was brilliant to watch, even when he had his pants pulled down to flash the world.

8/10

14 Ben Smith

May have seemed to be a bit quite but performed well when called upon.

7/10

13 Malakai Fekitoa

Strong carries once again and a major defensive impact.

7/10

12 Ryan Crotty

Any doubt about his ability to wear the No.12 jersey has been put to bed after breaking the gain line with each carry.

7/10

11 Waisake Naholo

Minimal chances to make an impact but he took any opportunity that came his way. Pity he hobbled off the field just before the break.

7/10

10 Beauden Barrett

Is there anything this guy can't do?

9/10

9 Aaron Smith

No flyhalf can standout without crisp service and Smith provided just that.

8/10

8 Kieran Read

The yellow card was the only blemish on what was an outstanding individual performance from the best No.8 in the world.

7/10

7 Sam Cane

Went about his business in a subdued manner by his usually busy standard.

6/10

6 Jerome Kaino

Another player who is thriving on confidence and seems as though he can do no wrong.

8/10

5 Sam Whitelock

Worked well with his lock partner while being a monster on defence.

7/10

4 Brodie Retallick

Need line-out balls to be stolen? Call Brodie

7/10

3 Owen Franks

Set a good platform on defence and showed plenty of strength in the contact area.

7/10

2 Codie Taylor

Left the field early after receiving a knock to the head. Not enough time to be rated

1 Wyatt Crockett

Got the better of his opponent at the set-pieces while executing the basics properly.

6/10

Replacements:

16 Dane Coles (on for Taylor, 2nd min)

You would never have thought he was carrying a rib injury.

7/10

17 Kane Hames (on for Crockett, 57th min)

All he needed to do was the basics as the foundation had been set.

6/10

18 Charlie Faumuina (on for Franks, 45th min)

Never quite had the impact he would have liked.

5/10

19 Liam Squire (on for Kaino, 58th min)

Would have enjoyed his brief run about after throwing in some hard tackles and decent carries.

6/10

20 Ardie Savea (on for Cane, 63rd min)

It seemed like a gentle Sunday league game for the usually flamboyant flank.

6/10

21 TJ Perenara (on for A Smith, 67th min)

Never had much to do as he slowed things down considerably as a result of the game being a forgone conclusion.

5/10

22 Aaron Cruden (on for Crotty, 40th min)

Played a bit within himself but made some good runs.

6/10

23 Julian Savea (on for Naholo, 49th min)

Will be happy that he got a chance to regain some form after some big carries.

7/10
