You have to commend them for their attitude, a willingness to play and expansive game, and take the All Blacks.

The played with great intensity, a combination of brute strength and inventive play. However, they just could not sustain it beyond the hour mark.

15 Joaquin Tuculet:PLAYER RATINGS: Out of gas

Had one really impressive run and a few other less effective efforts. However, he missed too many tackles.

Didn't have as many opportunities as he would have wanted, but made the most of what came his way. Showed plenty of power.

One really impressive run and a few other darting runs. However, his defence was a major problem.

His footwork caused the All Blacks some trouble and he was solid on defence.

11 Santiago Cordero:

Being used a lot as a ball carrier and was very effective. Also missed only one tackle in a game where the numbers climbed significantly in the second half.

10 Nicolas Sanchez:

He is the one player that can challenge Beauden Barrett for the title  as the world's best flyhalf.

9 Martin Landajo:PLAYER RATINGS: Out of gas

Sublime break for the first try and great service. Did his basics well.

8 Facundo Isa:

His powerful charges caused plenty of bruises in the All Black camp. Also showed some great skill.

7 Javier Ortega Desio:

Another workhorse in this impressive Argentinean pack – strong carries and solid defence.

6 Pablo Matera:

Made plenty of hard metres, sometimes just one or two at a time, but kept the momentum going forward.

5 Matias Alemanno:

The hard work in the close exchanges – especially on defence – was his most valuable asset.

Drifted in and out of the game and had the occasional moment of impact.

Had a shocker and did not complete a single tackle.

2 Agustin Creevy (captain):PLAYER RATINGS: Out of gas

A real workhorse – the diesel in that powerful Argentinean pack. Made plenty of metres with the ball in hand and missed only one tackle.

1 Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro:

Impressive work in the scrums, very powerful carries (making good metres) and made most of his tackles.

His best work was on defence, while his ball carries were rather ineffective.

Made no contribution whatsoever.
