Injuries force Du Preez to change

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Sharks coach Robert Du Preez has made modifications to the starting XV after injuries hit the Sharks camp ahead of the crucial clash against Griquas in Kimberley on Friday.

Sharks veteran Odwa Ndugane comes back in the side in place of Tythan Adams, while Marius Louw will replace injured Lukhanyo Am at inside centre.

Am along with industrious flank Jacques Vermeulen sustained injuries during the side's  narrow 27-25 win over the Pumas last weekend.

Vermeulen's injury means that Tyler Paul moves from lock to the openside flank.

While. Jean Droste will partner up with captain Ruan Botha as the new lock combination.

In the front row, Franco Marias and Juan Schoeman has been promoted from the bench. The pair will replace Armand van der Merwe and Thomas du Toit at hooker and tighthead prop respectively.

Van der Merwe and Du Toit take a seat on the bench as part of the Sharks' rotation policy.
