He was issued with a red card in the match at Stade Pierre-Antoine.

 

Willemse was sent off by referee, Wayne Barnes (England), for charging into a ruck with his shoulder in the 61st minute of the match in contravention of Law 10.4 (h).

 

David Martin (Ireland), Chairman, Hugh Logan (Ireland) and Jean-Philippe Lachaume (France) have been appointed as the independent Disciplinary Committee for the hearing which will take place in London on Wednesday.

Under World Rugby's Sanctions for Foul Play, Law 10.4 (h), carries the following sanction entry points – Low End: two weeks; Mid-Range: five weeks; Top End: 10 to 52 weeks.
