"When I first saw Andrei play, I spotted his massive potential," said Sale's Rugby Director Steve Diamond.

"He was one of my first signings, and he is a player who gives everything both on and off the field. He plays hard, trains hard and never takes a backward step.

"He is well-respected by the whole squad, and it's great to get his signature on a new contract."

Sale are 10th in the Premiership ,16 points clear of bottom side Bristol with three matches of the regular season remaining.
