According to the UK-based newspaper CoventryLive, Stormers No.8 Nizaam Carr and Sharks prop Tendai Mtawarira are among the players who are in high demand at Premiership side Wasps.

The newspaper posted a question via Facebook asking 'if you could sign one player for Wasps next season who would it be' – and it seems that the South African No.8 Carr came out as the obvious choice.

The 27-year-old joined Wasps on a short-term loan in November and produced remarkable performances in Premiership and in Europe, scoring four tries in 11 appearances.

Carr rejoined the Super Rugby franchise the Stormers following Wasps' European victory over Ulster in January.

The Wasps faithful are not the only ones who long for a Carr returned. In January coach Dai Young also hinted that seeing the Springbok in a Wasps jersey is not totally out of the question.

While, 98 Test caps Springbok Mtawarira, who is at the stage of retiring, is also popular potential recruit among the Wasps' supporters.

In January, the 32-year-old was linked with a move to Bordeaux Bégles by a number of French websites.
