TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Southern Kings have made only a single change ahead of their Pro14 clash against Connacht in Ireland.

After their 10-57 loss to Scarlets, head coach Deon Davids has opted for consistency, with only a single modification.

The change sees former Western Province scrumhalf Masimla moving from the bench to starting XV.

Masimla replaces Rudi van Rooyen, who takes a spot on the bench.

Hooker Michael Willemse retains the captaincy armband.

Despite, their horrible start, Kings Chief Operating Officer Charl Crous believes the side will come good and Kings should be realistic with their expectations in their firsts season.

"We have to be very realistic in our expectation," Crous said.

"We want to be competitive and, not to give you the normal jargon default coach’s answer, we really just want to improve this season with the squad, ensure that we keep on improving, that we’re competitive and have small gains,"
