Glasgow Warriors in a statement later confirmed that an "isolated, but contained" incident took place in the North Stand.

"This resulted in the Fire Services being called and the stadium being evacuated,"the statement said.

All supporters were brought back into the stadium safely after a delay of about 30 minutes and the game resumed.
