Hartley ruled out of crucial France clash

Northampton hooker Hartley's place in the front row will be taken by long-serving deputy Jamie George.

That was was the only change to the pack announced by coach Eddie Jones on Thursday but he has made several alterations behind the scrum as England look to bounce back from their 13-25 loss away to Scotland – just their second loss in 26 Tests under their Australian boss. 

Anthony Watson starts at fullback in place of the benched Mike Brown, with the fit-again Elliot Daly on the left wing and Ben Te'o at outside centre alongside Farrell in midfield instead of Jonathan Joseph.
