Kolisi: We are all fetchers

Like they have done on many occasions in the past, the Stormers will start the match without a traditional openside flank in the back row. Instead, Stormers head coach has opted for the bruising Rynhardt Elstadt in the No.6 jersey.

The Stormers did sign Stephan de Wit from the Lions to fill the void in that openside role, but the 25-year-old broke his ankle in training during the pre-season.

Kolisi: We are all fetchers"The coach has made a game plan where we all fit in and we all know our job and that is what we want to focus on," Kolisi told reporters at Newlands ahead of the derby match.

"When it comes to fetching, everybody is a fetcher nowadays, so whoever is in there [breakdown] will take the ball."

Kolisi said nullifying halfbacks Rudy Paige and Handre Pollard will be a key part of their plans on Saturday.

"We want to stop them because they run off nine and the quicker they come off nine the more confident they are.

"If we slow down their ball then tactically it is better for us," he added.

Kolisi added: "I am excited. I just want to get going now. There has been a lot of talking – we have just been working very hard and it is time to play now.

"We can't wait for the season to get started."
