REPORT: The final day of World Rugby's Under-20 Trophy brought out the worst in Montevideo weather - not a Katrina or an Irma but perhaps a side-effect.

The rain and wind were certainly heavy and made life uncomfortable for the players. In fact, it was so bad that the officials stopped the game early.
Japan won the final, slithering to a 14-3 victory over Portugal. Japan were relegated at the last Under-20 Championship but this victory qualifies them to shoot straight back got the next one.
Tongan Faulua Makisi scored a try. He charged down a clearing kick and then surfed over with the ball for a try. Japan's second try was a penalty try when Japan destroyed a Portuguese scrum. Portugal's points came from a penalty goal by flyhalf Jorge Abecasis.
After 65 minutes of the match, the officials called the players off, fearing for their safety.
Uruguay won the bronze medal. they scored first and last, though the Namibians fought back to 15-12 early in the second half then Los Teros pulled away for victory.
