Knock-out Stage: England and Australia deliver knockout blows on rivals

New Zealand got the better of South Africa 29-9 in the first quarterfinal.

Australia then beat Scotland 33-16 in Brisbane and France sent Ireland packing 43-21 in Melbourne.

England claimed the last semi-final place- with a 28-17 win over Wales.

Elton Flatley boot was the difference between Australia and New Zealand- with the fly-half slotting over 17points, which helped the Wallabies win 22-10.

The remaining semifinal spot was filled by England, who beat France 24-7.

New Zealand humiliated France 40-13, to take third place.
