(Capacity: 37,914)

Elland Road has been home to Leeds United A.F.C (soccer club) since the club’s foundation in 1919 and was previously occupied by Leeds City and Holbeck Rugby Club.

Leeds is the hotbed of rugby league but Leeds Rhinos play just down the road at Headingley.

The venue played to South Africa and the North of England XV in 1992- with the Springboks taking it. The Boks had players like Naas Botha and Robert du Preez in their side.  A few other games which took place on the ground were Great Britain v New Zealand in 1985 and the Tri-Nations final in 2004 and 2005- with the stadium is the 12th biggest football stadium in England.

A Twentry20 cricket game was suppose to take place on the ground in 2009 but was cancelled because a suitable artificial pitch could not be found.  The ground has also played to concerts such as Queen, Blackhearts and U2, just to name a few.

The ground will host two 2015 Rugby World Cup matches.
