Staduim MK was initially named as stadium: MK, stylistically Stadium MK and is known by the locals as Denbigh Stadium.

The ground has hosted a few rugby matches before, were Saracens played Bristol in the 2010-11 season. Northampton Saints used the Stadium in the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup because their stadium was too small. The Saints won Ulster and Perpignan in the quarterfinals and semifinals, only to lose to Leinster in the final. 

There are two nearby railway stations, Bletchley and Fenny Stratford. Both of these stadiums are 2.1km away from stadium mk- with Milton Keynes Central station 4.2km away. There are bus shuttles that connect from the Central and Bletchley stations.

This ground will host three 2015 Rugby World Cup Matches.
