New date for Sharks, Lions' postponed fixtures confirmed
NEWS: The United Rugby Championship confirmed that the Round 6 fixtures involving Sharks and Lions that were postponed in October will now take place at the end of next month.
Those two fixtures, the Sharks v Ulster and Lions v Glasgow Warriors, were postponed due to severe illness in the visiting squads.
The Irish province, Ulster, and Scottish franchises, Glasgow Warriors, are unable to field full playing squads due to “gastroenteritis infections”.
The rearranged fixtures will take place between Round 14 and Round 15 on Saturday, February 25.
The Sharks will host Ulster in Durban at 14.00 SA time ( 12.00 GMT) and the Lions will welcome Glasgow Warriors to Johannesburg where kick-off time is slated for 16.10 SA Time (14.10 GMT).
