He had a few nice touches with the ball, but he was well-marked out wide.

He got the chance to break the line on a few occasions and he won a few turnovers for his team.

His defence was poor and looked a bit indecisive with ball in hand.

He gave a good account of himself with a few big hits on defence.

11 Ramiro Moyano:
Argentina’s best player on the field. He beat a number of defenders out wide and made more running metres than anyone else on the field.

10 Nicolás Sánchez:
He had a few good moments on attack, but it was not enough from the playmaker. He was also poor on defence.

9 Gonzalo Bertranou:
He had a few good moments from the base of the ruck and his distribution was clean.

8 Javier Ortega Desio:
It was a busy performance by the No.8, but he just doesn’t have that physical presence of Argentina’s previous No.8s.

He was forced to make a lot of tackles during the match and he was ineffective with ball in hand.

6 Pablo Matera:
Argentina’s best forward on the field by a mile. He contested the breakdown well and made some good metres with ball in hand and he scored a try.

5 Matías Alemanno:
Most of his work was limited to defence. He didn’t do much when he had the ball.

4 Guido Petti:
He didn’t have that physical impact on the game that we saw in Super Rugby.

3 Juan Figallo:
He didn’t have a good time in the scrums and he just didn’t do enough work around the field.

It was a disappointing outing considering how well he played in Super Rugby.

He found life tough in the scrums and was ineffective with ball in hand.
