Schools Top 20 - September 1

This will be the last of the weekly Top 20s for 2015. Next week we shall take the whole season into consideration, which could be to the benefit of some sides that have played little of late.

This week there were few matches but some relevant ones. Rondebosch had a massive win over Bishops and come back into the Top 20. Wynberg shocked SACS but have had a poor season overall.

Oakdale beat Boland Landbou more comprehensively than the score suggests and they go up above teams that did not play – Selborne, HTS Middelburg and Eldoraigne.

Rondebosch, after two good late wins, leapfrog several to take SACS's place. SACS drop down just one place as the teams below them either lost or did not play at all, thereby not even risking the possibility of defeat.

Boland Landbou, Outeniqua and Diamantveld all lost, but not by much and Garsfontein, Maritzburg College and Helpmekaar did not play. Not playing is not a reason for advancement!

Bishops drop out of the pressure group below that but Welkom Gim come into it.
