VIDEO: Why Siya rates Willie as the 'Bok provider'
Veteran fullback Willie le Roux is not everyone’s cup of team. In fact, he has far more critics than fans.
However, one of his most important admirers is Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.
The cynics will look at Le Roux’s performance in a very critical manner. They will find flaws galore.
Kolisi is adamant the real value Le Roux brings to the team is his organisational and playmaking skills.
Speaking after his team’s record 52-16 win over Wales in Cardiff, Kolisi said the try-scoring pass he gave was a masterstroke created by Le Roux.
South Africa were quickly into their stride and went ahead after just four minutes through an outstanding team try.
Patient build-up play saw them gradually make ground and when the fullback, Le Roux, went wide, he found Kolisi in support, whose pass sent Marx over in the corner.
Kolisi described the impact Le Roux has as ‘ridiculous’.

“He speaks to me the whole time,” Kolisi told a post-match media briefing in Cardiff.
“He organises everyone.
“He sees stuff that we don’t see.
“He told me he’s going to shoot up, stay on your feet, I’m going to give you the ball.
“Exactly what he said, happened.
“I kept my hands free and Malcolm [Marx] was waiting for that.”
Kolisi said those tries don’t happen by luck.
“We train for that. We watch every single guy in their team to see how they defend.
“It is the work and the preparation that we do.”
