Injury blow for Wales

Ryan Jones looks set to miss Wales' opening two Six Nations matches after he sustained a hamstring injury at the weekend.

The Ospreys loose forward limped off during the European Cup clash against Leinster on Friday and was released from the Welsh squad on Monday.

According to Wales Online, Jones has been ruled out of the Tests against Italy in Cardiff on Saturday, February 1 and Ireland in Dublin a week later.

Jones' regional teammate James King, who made his debut for Wales in Japan last year, has been called into the squad.

Newport Gwent Dragons hooker Sam Parry and Scarlets second row Jake Ball have also been drafted into the national squad and will begin training with the squad Tuesday.
