Plethora of problems for Bulls

The Bulls have been on the recieving end of two large defeats in the early stages of the Currie Cup, leaving left Frans Ludeke with a lot of problems to fix.

Although it has not been the easiest start for the Blue Bulls, facing the Lions away and then a trip to Cape Town, the Bulls would still not expect to be in such a bad way.

Looking very out of sorts in defense, resulting in 82 points to be scored against them, Ludeke believes his problem lies in the team's attack.

Ludeke has said his side's poor finishing was the main reason behind their second successive defeat.

"Our finishing was poor and we were not patient when building pressure," said Ludeke.

"Our decision-making also let us down and when you're up against the best teams in the competition, you pay the price."

Ludeke said he would be taking an in depth look at the way his side was leaking points.

"I need to look at the way we are conceding points to our opponents.

"Some of the points against us today actually came when we were putting the opposition under pressure.

"We also lost vital line-out ball when we were in potentially good attacking positions."

The Bulls finally return to Loftus next Saturday to host the EP Kings – who have also had a poor start in the Currie Cup after being out of the loop for 12 years.
