Six Nations, Week 2, Part 1

In the second week of the Six Nations, France beat Ireland in Paris, England beat Italy in Rome and Wales beat Scotland in Cardiff. In this section we give some statistics from the matches. Later we shall discuss incidents, firstly the penalty try and the sending off, and then other incidents.

Cards

There were two, one a hectic red, one yellow.

Ian Gough of Wales received a yellow one for a late tackle on Scott Murray, Scott Murray received a red one for kicking Ian Gough in the head.

Penalties conceded

In this section we record the times a team was penalised. In (i), for example, France were penalised 13 times, Ireland 4 times.
