The 21-year-old left the pitch spitting blood on Sunday after an accidental smack in the face from Bordeaux’s Pablo Uberti.

“The scans show it’s a double fracture and that I need an operation,” Ntamack said on Twitter.

He now faces a race against the clock to be fit for the Six Nations in February and European Cup games with Exeter and Ulster.
