Rattez replaces injured Villiere

NEWS: Wing Gabin Villiere has been replaced in France’s squad for the November Tests by Vincent Rattez after suffering a hamstring injury, the French Rugby Federation announced on Tuesday.

Toulon’s Villiere, 25, had been named in coach Fabien Galthie’s squad 24 hours earlier.

Montpellier’s Rattez, 29, will compete for a starting place with Damian Penaud as well as uncapped pair Matthis Lebel and Donovan Taofifenua for games against Argentina on November 6, Georgia on November 14 and New Zealand six days later.
