According to the Rapport, Nkosi was told by Bulls’ Director of Rugby Jake White to return to South Africa after the wing missed a team meeting in Ireland on October 12.

The Sunday newspaper reported, that Nkosi was granted permission to visit a friend but then returned late to the team hotel in the week of the United Rugby Championship match against Munster.

There were a few questions surrounding the 26-year-old’s omission from the Bulls’ match-day squad against Benetton at the weekend.

However White provided no explanations for why Nkosi was not selected for the Bulls’ match where they were 44-22 victors.

Nkosi reportedly apologised to the team for his actions.

Nkosi, who has 16 Test caps for teh Springboks, join the Bulls from the Sharks at the start of the season.
