The New Zealander will be without several of the heroes of his team’s 21-16 triumph over a 14-man Irish team last week when they travel to Edinburgh to face a high-flying Scotland on Saturday.

Dan Lydiate suffered a serious knee injury, Tomos Williams injured a hamstring, while Johnny Williams and Hallam Amos were forced off for head injury assessments during the win in Cardiff this past Sunday.

Lydiate has been released from the Six Nations squad due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

He will undergo a number of assessments and consultations in the coming days to establish the best course of management.

Tomos Williams is currently being assessed and is also ruled out of the fixture against Scotland on Saturday.

Johnny Williams Amos will both miss the fixture against Scotland on Saturday due to their respective head injuries.

Wales will confirm the replacements at a later stage.
