Bondedag Warm-ups for Craven Week

The annual Bondedag was held for Northvaal provinces at Hoërskool Bekker in Magaliesburg.

The day is part of preparation for Craven Week which starts on 1 July this year.

All of the matches were high-scoring affairs, as is more and more usual in school rugby in South Africa at the present time.

For the Blue Bulls it was their second warm-up match after beating the Golden Lions 40-3.

It was the third for the Free State who had previously beaten the Griffons 45-5 and Griquas 58-3.

It was the second time in recent weeks that the Valke played the Pumas. Earlier the Pumas had won 52-40.
