Faure Street will again be filled for two successive weeks as the Interschools between New Orleans and Klein Nederburg takes the stage, a week after the other Paarl Interschools between Paarl Boys’ High and Paarl Gim.

It is an FNB Classic Clash and will be televised live.

As with the other interschools, the one this week will dominate a week or more of life in Paarl and in the two schools in particular.

It’s not just about rugby, though mostly about rugby, in particular the 1st XV match which kicks off at four o’clock on Saturday afternoon, a climax to the week.

There will be hockey, soccer, chess, basketball, table tennis – all for boys and girls – netball for girls and rugby for boys.
Some of the rugby will be played on Wednesday, and, on Saturday, there will be five matches – rugby from 10 in the morning to after five in the afternoon.
