U17 Provincial 7s in Potch

The SA Rugby Under-17 Interprovincial Sevens takes place at the Fanie du Toit Sports Grounds in Potchefstroom this Friday and Saturday, 28 and 29 September 2018.

There will be 16 teams taking part in 44 matches, 24 on Friday and 20 on Saturday. The teams represent the 14 provinces plus Limpopo and SA LSEN, where LSEN stands for Learners with Special Educational Needs.

Amongst the teams are Western Province, who won the tournament in 2017.

On Friday each of the teams will play three matches and then the sorting starts with knock-out matches, leading to a ranking.

The first match on Friday, at half past eight, will see reigning champions play the SA LSEN side. It will kick-off an exciting day’s rugby.
