Schools Top 20 - 15 August

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: There were not many matches over the long weekend and so there is little to change on this week’s Top 20.

With two South African Schools teams in action over this period, some top schools will suffer and the same will be true next Saturday when SA Schools play England and SA Schools A play Argentina.

It is also the day when Grey Bloem go down to play Paul Roos in Stellenbosch.

Because it would be unfair to the players who play with great determination for their schools in matches such as these, we are going to treat them as worthy matches.

The task of ranking is difficult enough without having to take into consideration players who do not play, for injury or any other reason. After all important Currie Cup matches will be played and the results will count even though some teams will be without players who are part of the extended Springbok squad.
