RANKINGS: As we resume after the midwinter break with the excitement of Craven Week and the announcement of the SA Schools side, the resumption of the rugby season sees two changes at the top of the Top 20.

Paarl Gim had a big win while Grey have not been playing as Grey for some time and so we have swapped their places. Oakdale, ranked seventh, had a big win over Paarl Boys’ High who were ranked fourth, Oakdale’s first win over Boys’ High since 2002. They, too, have swapped places.

Between them are Glenwood and Transvalia who had good wins but against unranked teams. Wynberg slip down a bit after their match with Paul Roos while Garsfontein change places with Helpmekaar who beat them.

Monument nudge up after beating Menlopark as do Jeppe who had a convincing win over Waterkloof. Grey, who were in the pressure group just under the Top 20, get back onto the ladder after beating Framesby who slip off the ladder.

Hilton and Kearsney are no longer playing this term and so we have removed them from the pressure group.
