Bulls boss keeps his job
NEWS: The Blue Bulls Rugby Union are still looking for a new CEO, but at least they have certainty about their President.
The BBRU interim President and Chairman of the Board, Willem Strauss, was re-elected unopposed into his post and will serve a four-year term.
Strauss was appointed into the role on an interim basis in March this year.
“It’s no secret that I have dedicated my life to the beautiful game of rugby,” Strauss said.
“I am honoured and privileged to be granted to opportunity to lead the #BullsFamily once again.
“We have been blessed with some of the most amazing people that have supported our efforts on both the professional and amateur sides.”

Strauss added that the Bulls are on the doorstep of an “exciting new era”.
“There are some big appointments to be announced soon,” he said, adding: “Stability and consistency are of the utmost importance at this stage, and fans can be assured that I will do my best to ensure this.”
Strauss gives full credit to a strong support structure around him, including the management team and personnel.
He fully believes that with his team, he will make rugby in Pretoria a force to reckon with.
