England hosts Home Unions U18

Gloucestershire home

This season’s Home Unions Under-18 Tournament will be staged at four grounds in Gloucestershire in April.

Each of the four participating countries – England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales – take it in turn to host the event. The tournament returns to England this year and it will be hosted by Gloucestershire with matches scheduled to be played at Lydney, Cheltenham, Cinderford and Gloucester’s Kingsholm ground.

England will go into the tournament attempting to claim their first outright title. England shared the championship with host nation Wales last season after the two finished level on points. England defeated Scotland at Ebbw Vale and Ireland at Pontypridd but were beaten by Wales at Dunvant. Wales were held to draws by Ireland and Scotland which enabled them to preserve an unbeaten record in 21 games in the competition.

Fixtures:

Saturday, 15 April at the Prince of Wales of Stadium, Cheltenham

England vs Ireland at 14.00
Wales vs Scotland at 15.35

Tuesday, 18 April
