England duo skating on thin ice

Harlequins scrumhalf Care received a citing commissioner’s warning from Chris Catling after his side's 22-30 defeat to  Northampton Saints Saturday.

Equivalent to an off-field yellow card, this was issued for a dangerous tackle contrary to law 10.4 (e), when he played Northampton’s Jamie Gibson without the ball.

The incident took place in the first half of the match.

Wasps No.8 Hughes also received a citing commissioner’s warning this weekend after the match his team's 9-25 defeat to Bath on Sunday.

Independent citing commissioner Steve Savage issued the warning for dangerous play contrary to law 10.4 (a), when Hughes made contact with Bath’s Taulupe Faletau’s neck and face with his arm during the first half of the match.
