The 22-year-old flank appeared before an independent disciplinary after he was cited and charged with tip tackling Bath scrumhalf Kahn Fotuali’i.

The incident occurred in the first half of his side's 14-38 defeat to Bath on Saturday, November 25.

Chisholm pleaded guilty to the charge and was suspended for a period of three weeks. He is available to play again on December 19.

The chairman of the panel Jeremy Summers said: "The panel found that this was a reckless and poorly executed tip tackle that caused no injury or effect on the game.

"As such, it merited a low-end entry point of six weeks. Due to the player’s guilty plea, clean record and remorse, the panel gave full mitigation resulting in a ban of three weeks,"
