Warriors pummel Ospreys

Horne dotted down twice as Scott Cummings, Brandon Thomson, Leonardo Sarto, George Turner and Adam Hastings all went at the Liberty Stadium to compound the Welsh outfit to their seventh loss of the season.

After an early Ospreys penalty, Glasgow found a way across the line as young halfback Adam Hastings danced his way over to score.

Glasgow continued to build the pressure after Sam Davies had missed a penalty for the hosts and went over again courtesy of Thorne.

After some hard carries, Glasgow found their way to the Ospreys line only to be held up. But from the resulting scrum, Glasgow managed to secure the ball and Horne sniped over for the try.

A Davies penalty on 30 minutes kept Ospreys within touching distance, but the Warriors continued to look dangerous before the break as debutant Siua Halonukonuka burst his way through multiple Ospreys players but couldn't get over the line.

Glasgow continued to dominate and after good work from Hastings, Horne put Cummings over in the corner.

The Warriors were in the groove and struck next for their bonus point. Turner, back from Scotland duty, crossing the line after a fine interception.

Within 10 minutes the Warriors were back over the line again. A set move from the line-out sent Lelia Masaga straight through the middle who offloaded to Horne for his second try of the day.

Ospreys just couldn't get their game going and a ruthless Glasgow continued to sense blood and were able to go over twice in the final 10 minutes to round off a superb afternoon’s work.

And it was another crucial interception, this time from replacement Thomson who left the Ospreys defence in his wake to go over.

Glasgow polished off a fine first win at the Liberty stadium since 2013/14 with an intercept from Italian international Leo Sarto who sprinted 80 metres to secure Glasgow's seventh try.
