Sonny Bill to give Newlands a show

The All Blacks have a large support base in Cape Town and Williams is probably one of the biggest drawcards for fans when New Zealand teams arrive in the Cape.

"I definitely feel comfortable here [in Cape Town],” said Williams

"I get a lot of support just like the rest of the boys. My wife is South African, so this is like a second home, not just for myself but for my family and my little girls, so I really enjoy coming here."

Williams' centre partner Ryan Crotty said the attention that they are receiving in Cape Town has not been a distraction to their preparations.

"It is only a distraction if you let it become one," said Crotty. "I think it is awesome to see the fans getting behind us in South Africa, its special.

"We get a lot of support here in Cape Town, so it's awesome to see those fans, who are so excited that we are here and excited to see the game this weekend.

"All the boys are pretty good at dealing with the perceived distractions and we are just focussing on what we need to do to prepare for Saturday."

Meanwhile, Williams believes he and Crotty will have another tough task in the midfield against the Springboks' combination of Jesse Kriel and Jan Serfontein.

"They [Kriel and Serfontein] are quality players," William said. "We all know what kind of athlete Kriel is, but his midfield partner brings that stability to enhance his game.

"We got a big job on our hands to nullify that threat they have in the midfield. We are going to be on our toes, we are going to have to be, so it is exciting times."
