Video: Bring on England, says Gatland

It was the 10th anniversary of New Zealander’s first match in charge of Wales.

But Gatland wasn’t dwelling on that milestone, his attention has already turned to Twickenham and England.

“We go next week to a venue where we have had a lot of success in the last ten years and played well there, so we are looking forward to it.”

An early intercept try from Gareth Davies set the home side on their way, it was his 10th try in 28 Tests.

Leigh Halfpenny scored two tries in a 24-point haul, while Steff Evans scored the bonus point try.

Scotland’s try from Peter Horne came in the 78th minute, with the match well and truly over.

“Getting Scotland first up at home was great for us to get an opportunity to get off to a winning start. Obviously, there were a lot of players who were involved at Murrayfield last year who wanted to make up for that disappointment, with it being the first time Wales had lost to Scotland for a long while. We are pleased to start off with a bonus point win” Gatland said.
