Du Preez hands son the No.10 jumper

The flyhalf, who joined the Sharks from Stormers and Western Province, has been given the nod ahead of young prodigy Curwin Bosch.

Completing the halfback pairing is scrumhalf Cameron White. The 23-year-old takes the place of injured Springbok Louis Schreuder, who suffered a hamstring injury in his side's 31-14 win over the Bulls in a pre-season match in Polokwane last weekend.

While captain Ruan Botha has retained the captain's armband.

 The Hong Kong trip will be the Sharks' final preparation match before the start of Super Rugby.

The Sharks start their Super Rugby campaign against the Lions at Ellis Park on February 17.
