Lions bolstered for Jaguares showdown

Andries Ferreira, who withdrew at the last minute before the game against the Sharks last week, returns at lock.

He replaces Marvin Orie, who drops out of the matchday 23.

Ferreira will partner Springbok Franco Mostert in the second row.

Marco Jansen van Vuren makes his way onto the bench and if he takes the field, will make his debut in Super Rugby.

This change means coach Swys de Bruin has opted four a five forwards, three backs split this week – after having had six forwards on the bench in the 26-19 win over the Sharks last week.

Flank Marnus Schoeman loses out, as De Bruin opted for a specialist scrumhalf as cover on the bench.
