Fans fume after dangerous hit on Bulls player goes unpunished
VIDEO: Bulls fans believe the Hurricanes should have been reduced to 14 men during their Super Rugby quarterfinal against the Bulls in Wellington on Saturday.
The Hurricanes went unpunished for what looked like a dangerous shoulder charge from Asafo Aumua on Bulls replacement prop Simphiwe Matanzima.
All the officials missed the hit.
The Bulls went on to lose the match 28-35 with the Hurricanes moving on to face the Crusaders in next weekend’s semifinals.

This is a card for a shoulder charge! Penalty Bulls! Can we please get out of SuperRugby and onto Europe! This is very bad officiating. #HURvBUL #SuperRugby pic.twitter.com/YVdVK77pPx

Somebody, anybody show me the arms on this tackle!!! The resultant knock would’ve killed off the game with a breakaway Hurricanes try, ref played on #SSRugby #HURvBUL #SuperRugby pic.twitter.com/TE56ZcIBCf

Hats off to the Bulls, they’ve had a great SuperRugby campaign considering the last few years. It’s a pity they losing so many players post this years WC .
Anyway, can we talk about that no arm tackle from the Hurricanes prop? I swear NZ players get away with the most. #HURvBUL pic.twitter.com/Aq1WXfrutO
