Bulls squad for URC tour announced
NEWS: The Bulls have confirmed their touring squad for their four-week-long European leg of the 2023/24 United Rugby Championship campaign.
The Tswhane outfit will first stop in Ulster for a round two clash at the Kingspan Stadium, then travel to Italy to face Zebre Parma on Saturday, November 4.
Jake White’s herd will then travel to Cardiff Rugby on Friday, November 10 at the Cardiff Arms Park. The side will then wrap up their time in the North with a round five outing against Edinburgh at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, November 17.
The men in blue will then return back to the capital to host Connacht in round six on Saturday, November 25 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White said: “We have had experience, this being our third season now in this competition. Also, our recruitments have experience of playing in Europe and that will help us,” White said.
“We also will have to adapt to the quick 4G pitches because three of our games will be played on those types of surfaces, so weather is not the only change we will have to contend with. Hopefully our performance against Scarlets will put us in good stand in Europe.”
