The DHS 1st XV had their second domestic game against Richardsbay on Saturday the 6 May. It was game where DHS had everything to lose and Richardsbay could have taken away the DHS good record so far.
Due to fixture congestion in the Boland, SACS hosted Hugenote of Wellington on Wednesday afternoon. The teams kicked off just as the hot sun dipped below Devil's Peak and the match was played in near-perfect conditions. The match proved to be a tense affair, with both teams benefiting from intercept tries.
