Carizza starts for Pumas

Manual Carizza makes a long awaited return to the Argentina starting line-up for Saturday's Rugby Championship opener against New Zealand in Christchurch.

Carizza has been re-called for his first match for the Pumas since the June 2014 Test against Scotland.

Santiago Cordero will line-up for his first Rugby Championship match, along with Facunda Isa and Guido Petti Pagadizabal.

Argentina head coach Daniel Hourcade has made 12 changes from the last match against the French Barbarians with just the trio of Pagadizabal, Isa and Jerónimo De la Fuente retaining their places from the 21-9 victory.

Debuting Isa will complete a looseforward trio packing down with experienced flanks Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe and Juan Manuel Leguizamon.

Saracens' Marcelo Bosch will start at outside centre and he will have the experience of Horacio Agulla outside him on the right wing.

Clermont's Nicolas Sanchez gets the nod at flyhalf while there is no room for backline star Juan Martín Hernández who was omitted from the touring party.

The much anticipated clash is one that largely favours the All Blacks with 19 wins and one draw and this is the second time the Pumas will play in Christchurch after their 19-67 defeat in 2001.
