Farrell tweaks his British and Irish Lions squad...again
SQUAD UPDATE: Leicester Tigers and England scrumhalf Jack van Poortvliet will fly into Dublin on Tuesday to train with the British and Irish Lions.
The B&I Lions are preparing for the 1888 Cup fixture against Argentina on Friday.
Van Poortvliet will join Andy Farrell’s squad as cover.
On Monday, the 24-year-old was named in Steve Borthwick’s 36-player training squad ahead of England’s match against a France XV on Saturday.
The 24-year-old made his England debut against Australia in Perth in 2022 and has since won 15 caps for his country.
An update is yet to be given by the B&I Lions on Jamison Gibson-Park’s injury after his withdrawal just hours before Leinster beat the Bulls in the United Rugby Championship Final at Croke Park.
