Lealiifano unfazed by Puma lasers
Wallaby sharpshooter Christian Lealiifano in unconcerned about the possibility of having lasers flashed at him during Saturday's Test against the Pumas in Rosario.
Fans at Argentina’s home games have in recent times become notorious for using lasers beams in an attempt to put off place kickers when they are lining up a shot at goal.
Mike Harris complained about having a laser shone in his eyes during last year’s corresponding fixture, while All Black flyhalf Aaron Cruden experienced the ‘laser treatment’ during the defending champions’ 33-15 bonus-point win in La Plata last weekend.
Lealiifano, though, isn’t having sleepless nights over whether he will be targeted on Saturday.
"I saw a bit of the game last year and last week I saw Aaron Cruden trying to kick but I don't really worry about it too much," the Brumbies centre, who boats an 82 percent success rate in his debut Test season, told AAP.
"I have enough [faith] in my process and how I go about kicking to not let it be a distraction.
"I have a certain target on the ball that I concentrate on the most.
"If the laser is around that area it might distract me but if I stay focused hopefully nothing else goes wrong."
