Los Pumas change five for England
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Argentina recalled flyhalf Thomas Albornoz for their Nations Series international against England at Allianz Stadium.
The flyhalf, in for Geronimo Prisciantelli, is one of five changes to Sunday’s starting side that helped the Pumas fielded at Murrayfield last weekend, where they came from 21-0 behind heading into the final quarter to beat Scotland 33-24.
Justo Piccardo replaces Santiago Chocobares in midfield, Bautista Delguy takes over from Mateo Carreras on the left wing, while Marcos Kremer starts at openside flanker, with new No.8 Santiago Grondona and Juan Martin Gonzalez changing positions in a back row without Joaquin Oviedo.
Up front, prop Thomas Gallo packs down alongside Argentina captain Julian Montoya.
The Pumas are bidding to complete an unbeaten tour of Britain, with a record 52-28 thrashing of Wales in Cardiff earlier this month preceding their comeback win over Scotland.
But they will be up against an England side bidding for an 11th win in a row, a sequence that includes two victories away to Argentina – 35-12 and 22-17 in July.
