Pumas looking for killer blow
After coming up agonisingly short in Perth, Argentina are hoping to secure their first Rugby Championship victory on home soil.
The Pumas have home matches against the Wallabies, who beat them 14-13 in Perth on Saturday, and the world champion All Blacks.
Although frustrated with his team's inability to secure victory despite a spirited second half performance, captain Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe said the only option is to focus on the opportunities to come.
"We are just going to focus now, have a good rest week, enjoy the family, relax and get ready for two very tough battles in Argentina.
"We just need to be clinical and think about the rugby, nothing else. That is the only important thing on the pitch, just your rugby," he said.
Lobbe said that his side had ultimately been shown up as they failed to penetrate against a determined Wallabies side.
"The Australian team is such a good team, they have been in the top three for a long time. Once we scored a try they didn't let us play in their half and that is why they are ranked third in the world and we are No.10," he said.
Argentina coach Santiago Phelan said that although the flat first half was disappointing for his side, they can be encouraged with the way they came back after half-time.
"We are disappointed about the result, we did not play well in the first half and we did very well in the second half but we need to keep on learning and working on how to close the games.
"We will keep trying to get better and play 80 minutes. Perhaps the first half was not the best but it was a good reaction in the second half," he said.
