USA visits Canada in key Americas clash

The Canadians own a 38-16 with one drawn edge in the series, which dates to 1977, but the US squad has won its last four meetings with their northern neighbors.

The border rivals meet in suburban Vancouver for a match that will decide bragging rights ahead of their June 2019 World Cup qualifying series. Canada swept both 2013 qualifiers, the last time they have beaten the Americans.

Nick Civetta of English Premiership side Newcastle Falcons is available for the Eagles, who will also have Cardiff's Cameron Dolan in the lineup along with Ben Cima, who ranks second in tournament scoring with 19 points.

Argentina and the US squad are both unbeaten after two matches, with Argentina ahead by five points on scoring difference and likely to stretch that margin Saturday at winless Chile. Brazil visits Uruguay in the other third-stage matchup.

The Americans face Chile next week while Argentina hosts Brazil and the final match on March 4 sends the Americans to Argentina in what could be a showdown for the crown.

Argentina made four changes to its lineup ahead of Saturday's match against the Chileans, dropping starters Santiago Medrano, Tomas de la Vega, Julian Dominguez and Segundo Tuculet.

Joining Argentina to face the Condors are tighthead prop Franco Brarda, flanker Francisco Gorrisen, flyhalf Juan Cruz Gonzalez and 2016 Olympic wing German Schulz.

Argentina's Domingo Miotti leads the competition with 21 points from two matches while Sebastian Cancelliere ranks fourth with 15 points from three tries, level with Canada's Taylor Paris for the most in the event.
